A beautiful home that we were sad to leave since it worked out great for a weekend getaway with our pups. The grill was awesome and we appreciated the fire pit at night. Everything met our needs!

Checkin was smooth and easy! I loved how comfortable the bed was and the whole place was clean. If you're visiting Joshua Tree with 3-5 people, this is a great place to stay!

We had a great stay at Hi-Desert Dwellings. The space was beautifully designed, peaceful, and exactly what you want when escaping to the desert. Everything felt thoughtful — from the architecture and interiors to the way the property blended into the landscape. It was clean, comfortable, and had an inspiring atmosphere without trying too hard.
The hosts were responsive and the entire experience was seamless from check-in to check-out. Mornings and sunsets out there were especially incredible. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, stylish desert retreat.

Was a super fun weekend in Joshua tree and this place was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, quality furniture and a lot of space on the property. Was close to town but not too close if you know what I’m saying. Would love to stay here again

Great stay overall. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. They also provided filtered water, which was a nice touch. The beds were really comfortable and the house stayed at a perfect cool temperature the whole time. One of the best parts was the beautiful sunset views. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved loved loved this place. To me, it’s in the perfect location. Close enough to JT, close enough to Yucca and Flamingo Heights. Super clean and loved the amenities. Will stay again for sure.

Such a cozy and welcoming place—it honestly felt even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Our family absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere, especially waking up to the gentle sound of birds every morning. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, which made our stay even more comfortable and special.

Truly enjoyed our weekend getaway, it felt safe and cozy. We had a blast hanging out by the bonfire and the outdoor space they provided. Would definitely stay here again with the family. It’s nearby the town and national park.

My partner and I had an amazing stay here. It was the perfect quiet getaway for us to relax, unplug, and enjoy some much-needed time together (with a little work here and there). The home was absolutely gorgeous and very clean. We felt comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend!

I loved the stay at the Hi-Desert Dwellings. The place was clean, things were well maintained and kept together. Kitchen was nice, bathrooms were clean. They provided a guide that was easy to access and informative. They did say that they have a hot tub, but I was not able to find it or use it, but they did include instruction on how to use it. I stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days and they had only one shower towel, and I just wish they have a few more towels.

Spacious and charming. Centrally located on a very quiet street. More than enough space for 4 adults and two pups. Very clean. Beds were super comfortable.
Front door lock was odd, wish there were better instructions on how to unlock and lock, but we figured it out. Missing a few staples in the kitchen, mixing bowl, flat pan for pancakes! Bring your own cooking spray!
Be very cautious about the cactus and your pups in the open yard. We had to remove quite a few. But the courtyard fenced area was perfect for doggy adventures without pokes.
